“Elbkinder” are the largest carrier of day-care centres in Hamburg, with around 5,000 employees in more than 180 institutions. Optimal job coordination is especially important, as many vacancies must be filled with new hires, temporary substitutes or people returning from parental leave. A system needed to be provided that enabled all connected institutions to individually plan, control and organise staff needs more efficiently. Applications should be processed in the same standardised way in all institutions. In providing the required information of all involved parties online, decisions on filling vacancies should be made more quickly.Solution:
All day-care centre directors can now comfortably process the applications to their job ads online and decentrally with the E-Recruiting system BeeSite. Everyone can access the same data, removing the need to coordinate internally and significantly decreasing processing times. The recruiting process now also benefits from the automatic vacancy publication and extensive applicant communication.
