Internationally acting companies often have specific websites for each country and job market. Applicants have to visit the specific websites to find vacancies in specific countries. Very often, different recruiting systems will be used, leading to Candidate Experience being different in each country. Task:
Offer all global job offers of the group present in about 50 countries focused and mobile in one “premium” job search. Mobile accessibility is very important. Not only as the Telekom is a telecommunications company, but also because 49% of applicants arrive via mobile terminals. Solution:
The job search portal is based on the software solution BeeSite Global JobBoard. In the background, the product aggregates the job ads of all connected companies and provides them via a uniform job market on the internet with a look and feel typical to the group. At the end of 2014, the global job search was updated from the ground up both visually and technologically. The highlights:
To adjust the solution to the different mobile terminals, the job market was created in the so-called responsive design. At the same time, the interface was optimised for mobile use.
The job ad shows the descriptions of tasks and the desired qualifications directly next to one another. The information visually presented in boxes can be folded in or out as desired via mouse or finger touch. The candidate sees an immediate contact person with picture and link to the XING profile in the job offer.
An interactive map – branded in the Telekom colours – shows the vacant jobs per country, scalable up to the specific location via zoom. Via the function “Locate me”, the applicant can – after granting respective permissions – display his position on the map and any nearby vacancies.
