Survey Applicants 4.0 – how applicants think
While the business environment is often the focus of digitisation, it is important to take a look at the applicants’ perspective as well. Via the job market JobStairs (www.jobstairs.de), applicants were asked about their behaviour when looking for jobs and applying in a recent online survey. How digital are candidates nowadays when looking for a new job?The survey shows: New technologies offer a huge potential for recruiting and for the optimisation of the application process, but have not yet reached the masses. There is no applicant 4.0 yet. Nevertheless, applicants are one step ahead of companies. Willingness to try new things and desire for a mobile application is present. Now it is up to the companies to systematically test and implement new technologies.
