About HR Open Standards The HR Open Standards Consortium, which has been in existence since 1999, is the leading international non-profit organisation for the development and maintenance of standards on for data exchange in the HR field. It publishes HR-XML and JSON data exchange standards. The specifications are available for use free of charge. In addition to terminology, they include different business cases with implementation guidelines, examples and best practices. The specifications are available to all HR areas. The members of the Consortium include HR software manufacturers, HR service providers, the employment agencies of different countries, large companies, consulting firms, industrial associations and standardisation bodies.
